Senior Backend/Python Developer

During the last four years, we have taken Learnster from ideas how to achieve maximum learning in minimum time by building the LMS of tomorrow to a product with users in 30+ countries and more than 150 customers, including several well-known brands. But we are far from satisfied and in the coming years we will spend a lot of effort and resources taking our products to a world leading position in design, UX, and functionality. We are currently looking for a backend engineer for a key position in our development team.
As a backend developer, you will work with our backend services, APIs and cloud solutions. You will work with regular development, debugging, API-development, cloud/devops, code and performance optimization, security, white hat-testing or developing and training of ML-models - all depending on your skillset and personal interests. You will be working together with a passionate product and development team that consists of designers, product owners, developers and QA engineers.
Your background and skillset

3+ years or experience of Python development;
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure);
- Experience with container tech, for instance Docker;
- Very good knowledge of database management and coding in SQL; and
- Fluency in English, in speech and writing.
Bonus if you have experience in
-
AWS;
- Django;
- interest in programming non mainstream languages like Haskell, Rust or Lisp;
- ML/AI;
- proactive cyber security like PEN testing, white hat hacking etcetera; and
- live in the Stockholm area.
